Xennovate Medical Announces, xm18s, Its New Hi-Shear Hydrocolloid Skin Attachment Formulation
Xennovate Medical custom-designed and patented xm18s in response to customer requests for a skin-friendly adhesive with extremely aggressive shear adhesion, such as electrodes or catheter fixation devices. Safe use of this formulation is enhanced by Xennovate’s EverLift RemovEZ + PULL-TAB, which reduces removal forces by over to 30% for standard thickness wound bandages due to its ability to convert shear force adhesion to peel force adhesion upon removal.
Laboratory bench studies compared xm18s to Xennovate’s standard wound dressing formulations, as well a formulation from a top US ostomy company.
